Woven from threads of ancestral memory and contemporary reflection, Eastern Promises presents five artists whose practices delve into the enduring echoes of culture, the shifting contours of identity, and the narrative impulse that binds past to present. Drawing from deep wells of tradition while responding to the urgencies of today, the exhibition moves fluidly across geographies. From the mystical shores of the Aegean and the rugged terrain of the Armenian highlands, between glints of sacred iconography and the raw immediacy of urban surfaces. Within this space, myth is not merely recalled but reimagined; ritual becomes a form of resistance, and history unfolds in gestures that both honor and disrupt what came before.
