Sándor Gergely
SPIRIT PAPARAZZI
31 october - 25 november, 2026
In Spirit Paparazzi, Sándor Gergely turns his attention beyond the visible world, exploring the subtle tensions between consciousness, intuition, and human experience. Borrowing the idea of the paparazzo an observer who captures what is usually concealed Gergely redirects the gaze inward. His paintings reveal fleeting moments of vulnerability, desire, and transformation, where the boundaries between control and surrender begin to dissolve. Through shifting perspectives, fragmented spaces, mysterious figures, and fluid abstract forms, Gergely constructs visual worlds in which order and unpredictability coexist. Geometric structures suggest our desire for stability, while organic movements challenge the limits of that control.
Rather than offering fixed interpretations, Spirit Paparazzi invites viewers into a space of curiosity and reflection, where familiar realities become uncertain and new ways of seeing emerge.
